I wanted to go fishing for a half day, and my brother talked me into Scofield. We took two of my nephews as well. We got up there early, with only 1 bad spinout on the ice at the summit. Scary, but no traffic in sight, so we came out all right. It took us about 30 minutes to find them (they were a little shallower than we'd started out) but then it was hot action. Caught over 50, missed as many more. Nothing of size, and the majority were cutts that were quickly released. Did keep a couple bows for dinner. Here's one of my doubles from the day!

How thick was the ice up there? (asked the guy with a hand auger) The other question is how deep were you fishing? I am thinking about going out with my dad and I would like to put him on a mess of fish. You can PM me if you don't want to post for the web stalker hot spotters.
