Normally I dont like fishing the MP near Jordanelle due to he crowds but I figured winter + weekday = less people. And I was right only 1 car near the damm.
Tied on a small scud with a zebra midge and WHAM right as my flies hit the water a nice brown. I walk literally maybe 10 feet and cast it out again WHAM a 17 or 18 inch brown. I fished that spot for maybe an hour and pulled 4 more fish out there.
Decided to walk down and hit deep pools along the shore line there and guess what WHAM another brown all fish ranged from 14 to about 18 inches no trophies butl all fighters and a blast to catch.
I tell ya you guys need to get you arses down there I normally walk 2 or 3 miles in a day today I probably walked 1/2 a mile and caught 14 or 15 fish. Will post pics later
