float tubing Report Laguna Niguel
#1
Pretty slow overall but some fish caught. Was there from about 10am till 5pm I got 1 bow but pretty decent fishing for having staked about 3 weeks ago. Thought they would stalk tuesday. But, stalking truck couldn't get through the ice.

Anyways fishing was overall slow. Just SLOW. but thats why they call it "Fishing, not catching".[fishon]

Is LNL open to the public? For some reason I always thought it was private like LMV.

LMV is a private lake and is only open to residents in the area...

LNL is in a public park.. you pay to get in. you pay to fish.. its a nice little lake... it was the lake I got into a float tube for the first time.. :-)

Scott,

Yeah LN is a private lake in a public park. It's "pay to play" 5 bucks on weekends unless u have a pass 3 bucks on week days. Then u have to pay for fishing pass and if u want to use a tube u have to pay a little to launch it.

But, if u have ever been to Irvine and i'm sure u have. LOL it doesn't really cost more actually i think it cost less.[Image: bobwink.gif]

Ive been to LN and Corona Lakes but not Irvine. I look at it this way. I dont go to these lakes that often so when I do the costs are worth it to me.

Thats very cool that your dad helps you out with your
new hobby.
If you ever have a chance to float tube Castaic Lagoon
in spring time for bass- go for it. It can be A LOT of fun.
I fly fish for bass there and I do very well.

Its by Castaic [Smile]
Just look it up on mapquest. Its off the 5 fwy. There is also
lake Elizabeth, which is free to float tube.No charge but
you need a parking pass for national forest. $5.00 a day.
I have the one for the year for $30.00 for any national forest.
Hope this helps.
