DC Sunday, couple of beauties
#1
Fished the island marina over by the west side from the boat ramp. I was lucky to ice a beauty first thing in the morning a 18" rainbow in 35' water, then I couldn't find any fish until I got into deeper water and a found school of perch. Caught about a half dozen 6-7" perch until I finally caught this huge fatty Perch 13" 1lb 2oz., thought it was a nice trout when I was reeling it in.

There must still be few of these left in there because I caught one my first trip to Deer Creek ice fishing this year just like this, so I was little surprised to catch another hog same size.

Very nice perch. Unfortunately, I got the slimers down there, but can't seem to get into the perch.
