Hi again , we mostly shore fish for trout. Daughter is to young for a boat still, and i really love doing stuff with the family so we don't take the boat out usually. Works out okay since daughter loves to play on the shore. Mostly use spinning gear, worms, power bait. Working on long range casting since shore fishing can suck when u cant cast out far enough, so spending a bit of money on sum good shore fishing gear. Hopefully it don't rain this weekend so we can get out to quail lake and see if there is actually trout in there[].

makes sense to me... I know when my grandson was younger (he is only 9 now) he wanted to go out in the boat .. but he was so active and antsy on the shore I just felt it was not safe in a boat... maybe one day..:-)
good luck this weekend if you are able to go... MacFly [cool] [signature]
