Taggert / weber 2/4/10
#1
Hi all, First post on the ff board. I had to go look at a job in Henefer yesterday,
so i thought it would be a good opportunity to hit the river. I've been doing so much
ice fishing lately, this would be the first time in 3 months that i have had my fly
rod in hand. Well, i've gotta say it felt great. Not nearly as much work as fishing through the ice. Anyway, only fished for an hour, caught one small brown and had
5 or 6 long distance releases. I guess i am a little rusty.

at taggart there isent....clear banks to the water. if it wasent for this pesky football game tomorrow i would be out there for hours on end..... FYI fished taggarts today for about 35 minutes. we took a drive up there just for the hell of it. final tally, 2 browns (biggest being close to 16 inches) 3 whitteys for me, for the GF 1 brwon 1 whittey (spinning rod). all mine caught on my go to weber fly.

Hi HFT, There was no ice to speak of, except in my guides.
The water was Gin clear, flow was typical for that area this time of year.
I wish i could have stay longer. When i left, the sun was just starting to hit the water. I always seem to do better when the sun is on water, on that stretch this time of year.
