Made it to sportsmans to day. The fishing was pretty slow and the perch were small. Between the two of us we caught about 50 perch 4" to 6". My buddy caught a nice fat rainbow 18" and I also caught a 12" carp and a 16" chub. It was the biggest chub I have ever seen. It was about -4 deg when we started and around 26 deg when we left. Only about 3 other groups of fisherman out there all day. The ice is about 23" thick. Had a great time

Nice report. Did you throw that RECORD Chub back? We did when the GF caught a 16" Chub. Got home and looked at the record book and it shows 15.25". [crazy] It would have been cool to have my GF name in the record books.
Sounds the the size of the perch are getting smaller down there. Sure hope the water stays in there this summer, but it is not looking good. It would really help those perch with a few summers in a row having water all summer in Sportman's. That is cool you got a nice bow. Everything I have caught has been small planter trout about 12-14".
