Attention Utah Lake Anglers!
#1
All those interested in Utah Lake angling and access (for multiple purposes) are invited to attend the Utah Lake Fish Forum, hosted by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, on March 10, 2010 at 6:00 pm in the conference building (CRCC) at the Springville office, 1115 N. Main St.

Agenda

I. Welcome and introductions, 6:00-6:15

II. Utah Lake Tributary Regulations: There seems to be a renewed interest in discussing the current and historic factors relating to tributary regulations. Representatives from the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources Law Enforcement and Sportfish sections will be in attendance to facilitate the discussion. If an angling organization wishes to provide a presentation please contact Chris Crockett (801-491-5655, chriscrockett@utah.gov) prior to March 3 and he will add you to the agenda.
UDWR Presentation Concerning the following, 6:15-6:50
• History of tributary regulations
• Current tributary regulations
• Management concerns and future guidance
Public Comments and Questions, 6:50-7:20

III. Utah Lake Access: Last year the Forum created an access priority list to improve sportsmen’s access around the lake. UDWR and its partners have recently submitted two funding proposals to address those needs. A quick overview of each will be provided.
• Utah Lake Access Pamphlet, 7:20-7:30
• Lincoln Point West Side Acquisition, 7:30-7:40
• Spring Creek/Mill Race Road Maintenance, 7:40-7:50
Public Comments and Questions, 7:50-8:00

IV. Issues for Future Meetings: There has been some interest in a further discussion regarding Carp Removal by-catch. If you are interested in this topic and have questions please start sending them to Chris Crockett. If there’s enough interest, relevant individuals will be invited to attend a future meeting.

Hope to see you there!
