Hey all, New to the site, kind of, Ive been reading alot of post for the last few months. I hope to get to know more of you on here and well as post info and reports as well.
Tubedude I must say I always look forward to reading your engineering threads as well as your fishing post. I love your play on words.
Alittle about me. A grew up in a family that did not fishing. I got into it when I was about nine after a trip to Canda where I landed my first northern pike. When I was 12 I spent most of my free time fishing utah lake. Every weekend during school and everyday during the summer. At about 14 I started fishing the Provo river.
I tought myself how to flyfish and and make my own flies. Later I did a little guiding. About 9 years ago I all but just about gave up on fishing the provo (to many poeple). I have fished many streams and lakes around Utah and for the last few years have really only taken a few trips with the family and kids. I did a little ice fishing in the mix of all of it but this year I really got into it. I just can't get over how good the ice fishing has been this year. My kids have made a few trips out with me and really enjoyed it.
