Utah Lake Panfish from the shore
#1
Hello guys, I may make a trip down to Utah Lake next week for my spring break, and want to catch something. I REALLY want to catch a crappie. Everyone on this board seems to be awfully excited about Utah Lake warming up, so I was wondering where and what to use for the panfish of Utah Lake. I'm sure worms would work, but any other details would be much appreciated! (By the way I will be fishing from the shore)[fishin]

For the early season, I have found that small jigs that you would use for Ice fishing usually work tipped with wax worm. It is hard to beat a worm and bobber for about everything under 12" in the lake...they love it.

Good Luck,
