i was wondering if bluegill bite differently in the colder months and if they do what should i use to catch them

I was wondering the same thing. I am going to try Utah lake in the coming days weather permiting.[Wink]

I went out today to try for walleye and saw three guys fishin from the docks catchin small gills with a little piece of worm

i can claim exsperiance on this one..yes the bite is lite small tear drops and small grubs prefered bait and they school up tighter use lite springs and fish close to bottom

+ 1 to everything already said. Also....fish near cover, reeds, Docks, and close to shore. Find the bottom and fish near it with super small stuff and a small float that takes little weight to totally sink it. Always tip jigs with worm and look for a very lite bite, be ready, they come and go quick.

[Wink]thanks guys that will really help. I am going to try utah lake this week maybe on friday. hope there biting I mostly fish for trout but what the heck I will give it A try.
