Here is a current report from the local guides. Sounds like they are still a bit lethargic. I am going to try my luck on fishing the confluence for chinook in a few months, if the run is as phenomonal as they predict it will be. I think the new Brad's Super Lures, which have been killing them downriver this past year, will be the ticket. They pack them with tuna fish. The guides are all switching to them from Westport to eastern Washington. There is quite a bit of info on them on Youtube. Mike

Thanks for the info. I am here now and I went to check out the river tonight. There is no one fishing here. I am sure it is probably a little early but this is my only week to be here so I will check it out. Ron
