Does anyone have a Yuba report. I know a few weeks ago it looked like it was not going to be long before there was open water. I'm just wanting to know if that is the case yet. And there are no now reports on the state parkd web site.
Thanks

[cool][#0000ff]I have not heard anything recently either so I sent off an inquiry to Jeff Rasmussen, State Park manager at Oasis. Here is his reply:[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]1. Ice conditions?[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][#000000]75% iced over. The ice sheets are moving from side to side so boating is not currently available. Shore fishing may or may not be available depending on where the ice sheets are. Up to date conditions can be found at any time at[/#000000] http://stateparks.utah.gov/conditions/ylsp[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]2. Water level and forecast?[/#0000ff]
Water level is currently at 49%. I would guess that we will get another 6-8 feet of water before May. It has been rising about 3-4 feet per month. This could change depending on what the weather does this Spring.

[#0000ff]3. Any fishing going on?[/#0000ff]
Fishing has not been an option for the past couple of weeks because of unsafe ice conditions.
[#0000ff]A big thanks to Jeff for supplying info when we need it. [/#0000ff]
