East Canyon conditions

I was wondering if the ice was off enough to cast a line from the shore yet? Looking to take the family out tommorow or sunday. thanks

You can cast at the inlet; last week there was still a foot or more of ice on the rest of the lake. I know the ice fishing was smoking Saturday prior to thre front. If anyone has edge conditions it would be appreciated. I was planning on going to UL but my boat isn't in the condition needed for the trip so I may have to hard pan it one final time.
