Flaming Gorge?

So next week me and some buddies are going down to flaming gorge for a few days. Ive never been there. What do you suggest using? We will be using a boat for most of the time. Any tips on fishing techniques to use, or where fishing is the best would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you can get into the coves in Sheep Creek Bay and find the red gravel shelves in about 6-12 feet of water you may find some early 'bows and a few browns willing to play. Throw some 1 1/2" tubes on 1/16 ounce heads in green and natural hues.

What Brookieguy said is right. Also, be aware that as of today, most of the lake is still frozen, including most of those bays in the canyon. Also, 99 percent of the Wyoming side still has ice. The open water and open boat ramp is at Lucerne. You can only run from south of the pipeline to the entrance of the canyon. Macks are around, but VERY scattered.
