shore fishing for crappie in willard?

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has ever fished for crappie from the shore at willard bay and had any luck. obviously it is a bit cold now, so I may try in april/may. any info would be appreciated!

fish the north marina. but it's hit and miss. somedays you can catch your limit within an hour other days not a single bite. but when its on its on. and mabey hook into a wiper or two. I find it best late april through may
