Where to fish during Ice Off

I'm looking for a good place to fish from shore this weekend. According to recent posts, Otter Creek has little to no ice, Rockport is ice-free, and Mill Meadow, Millsite, and East Canyon have 20-30 feet of open water. Out of these lakes, which are the most productive from shore? If you don't mind sharing, what are some tips for fishing them also?

I have never fished the ice off at Rockport but do pretty well out there on the ice and when there is no ice. Try out bt where the river comes in at Rockport.
As for East canyon, that might be a good one right where the ice has come off.
