Our governor is once again a big hypocrite.
Does this surprise anyone?
Channel 2 News just aired a spot where Herbert is shown advertising Utah for it's great outdoors activities.
One of the campaign signs shows an angler fishing on a stream that I presume is at least in Utah.
How dare he pretend to support fishing in Utah!
Shame on you Gov!
Or is it EX-Gov?

Well I for one support him,,,,,,,,,,,,,, as the Ex Gov..
But if history is any indication of things to come, he'll be re-elected time and time again until death do we part,, or,, he finds a higher paying job.

RE "Shame on you Gov!

We can only hope so. It may be tough but if there are enough disgusted "R" 's like myself, one never knows, it may be ex-governor.
I would trust that the Corroon campaign will take full advantage of Herbert using a stream fisherman in his ad.
(Or was Herbert showing Thurston Howell fishing Victory ranch in his ad, touting that he was responsible for keeping the riff-raff average angler off of public water over an "exclusive" bed?)

I saw the same BS on Channel 5 News earlier tonight. Had about the same response as you did. Something about every $1 dollar spent on advertising campaigns for Utah tourism brings in $18. I was thinking how much business and tax dollars our state politicians[pirate] just cost us.

Sad thing is that because he is Republican in the great State of Utah people will blindly re-elect him. Kind of like all those that voted for Barack because he was not Republican. I say get Caroon in there to clean things up and have the courage to stand up for the average man. Herbert has no NADS, and was a default Governor.

I used to think just like you said (blindly elect a Rep), but I this time I believe the people have had enough. I usually voted Rep., but not for the gov next time around. I like Caroon. He's a pretty conservative Dem if you ask me.

Yep,, they all line their pockets in one form or another at our expense.
Its often rough to wade through all the candy coating we're given by those seeking office come election time. I'd like to have a candidate say "vote for me because I'm a crook, I know it, you know it, and you'll know where you stand".
I'd probably vote for that person because they were honest about that much at least.. After all, we wont get anymore bent and abused for voting that person into office than a candy coater.

I will not vote 4 him I am sure that anyone that is a sportsmen will not vote 4 him.
He has done nothing but call in favors and promise favors in return to ensure his re election. He has silence opposition from even his own party and his PR is second to none in this state. I am Independent with no affiliation to the Republicans or the Democrats both are a sick rabid dogs that need to be put down.
