Ririe Water To Cold!
#1
Put in at Juniper and trolled for 5 hours this am. The water temp was still in the 30's and the fish were not up and moving. We could locate large shoals of Kokes filling in L shaped indentations on the bottom but nothing up in the water column. The water needs to warm up about 10 degrees to get the fish up and moving. Thanks for the report. Let me know when it hits 50.[Wink] I think I have waited just a bit too long for the bass in the past.

By the way how is the water rising? How much further to the top? Will it reach full this year?

Thanks

It's 30' from full pool according to my FF. I don't think it will fill up this year but there is still a lot of snow on the ground. I guess it will depend on releases but the water is clean and clear where it isn't washing the high bank. A buddy fished for perch out of Black Tail. The docks aren't in on the upper end and ice was about 1/2 mile from the ramp. The perch fishing was painful as well. [Image: happy.gif]
