Anybody been steelhead fishing lately?

Has anybody been steelhead fishing lately? I know the season closes fairly soon and I was thinking about making one last trip.

Where are the fish now? This will be only my third time going so I'm not sure if it's even worth it to go?

How are the crowds? Still combat fishing?

What are you guys using to catch them on?

Any info/advice would be great!! Thanks!

A buddy of mine fished around ellis last weekend, he fished four days and landed 24 steelhead, really good i think. He said the crowds werent to bad but still plenty of people. I think he was drift fishin with roe but not sure.
