Fished out of Dayton yesterday and had an ok trip - about 14-15 bass and the bite was a little sporadic for us. Lizards still working but the milfoil and coontail coming up and bass related to it and to wood. Largest went a solid three pounds. Over the milfoil we switched to "senko" tupe baits and hooked up on a couple at the last using that. I think it's an excellent way to fish the grass while it is not yet up to the top. We were using 8 inchers. Oh, and Javvy Jim also caught a few on a top water bait. We fishedin Richland and in some of the cuts upriver. We started fishing about 6:45 am and quit about noon and headed for a restaurant!
