Welcome to BFT Jimme.
Is that am or pm?
A lot of people will be out at the lake for the first time this season over Memorial weekend. You're probably right about the damage.

That would be in the afternoon. I have been going out once or twice a week after work and I try to get out one morning on the weekend.
Before April I have not fished Mead for about 10 years( talk about a drought). I am not sure how it happened but I got the old bass bug and it feels great!!!

That begs for a couple questions to me. How deep are the bass spawning beds and how long until the baby bass are old enough to leave them?

I am no marine biologist for sure but I think bass spawn anywhere from 5 to 15 feet depending on water temp.. Also I am pretty sure baby bass are on the menu so if the question is how long do the bass stay on the bed I am not sure. I caught my recent fish around 15 to 20 feet on craw fish pattern crank bait not on beds.
