hit the 33 hole yesterday with the family thats a bit of a hike carrying 8 rods 60lbs, of gear, an igloo cube full of ice food and drinks, a duffle bag of dry goods, a pack n play, and an 11 month old baby good thing my kids are bigger they got to help. but for the most part i was the pack mule lol... anyways it was worth the hike. we got a great bite on shrimp we got 4 channels 1-2lbrs and a 2lb striper my son caught all on shrimp. chummed with cut sardines and chunked pompano. everyone caught fish. and everyone around seemed to be getting catfish although the ones we seen caught were dinks. i seen one guy catch a nice smallmouth on a white spinner bait. lots of striper exploding the shad on top way out though to far to cast. great day on the water all in all. tons of bites almost every cast using fresh shrimp. got there at around 2 and left just before it was totally dark nice sunset,, here are some pix....
