Has Anyone Fished Brownlee Reservoir
#1
I have plans to fish Brownlee the weekend of June 19th and am hoping someone has been there and can provide me with a little insight on what the conditions there have been and possibly a forecast as well.

Thanks ahead of time!!

I haven't seen anything mentioned lately. There was some talk of the water levels there on this thread:

Last mention of a trip was here:

You might do a search on not only Brownlee, but also Steck and Woodhead. Those are the two main Idaho parks there.

Also PM EZOP as he is there a lot and knows the river flows and conditions.

Enjoy your trip and let us know how you do.

I'll be there the 10th-15th at Woodhead. I'll post when I get back. I do expect it to be full of alot of floating wood and muddy.

The only thing that has me a little spooked is that the water temperatures in the reservoir have cooled five degrees in the past week. I would greatly appreciate any reports prior to the 16th of June.

I will provide a full report when I get back.

Thanks!!!

I don't have much else to add, considering all this extra rain and water just started this last weekend, which pretty much changes all old reports.
If the fishing is only 1/3 as good, it's still better then most lakes anyday.

I am hoping for 60 degree water by June 17th. If Brownlee can warm 5 degrees in 10 days, I will be very happy.
