couldnt keep the off the line at panguitch, boat ,bank it didnt matter. I usually use a long leader but switched up to a leader only about 12 inches long and the monsters started hammering it. take some fresh garlic ground up and rub it on your power bait. i was using a number 20 hook 4lb line and a 2lb leader and as long as you are willing to play the fish a bit you will catch some monster monster trout at will.
