I heard a couple of reports saying the Henrys Fork from St. Anthony to Ashton is starting to pick up. The reports were right on.
I fished Chester Dam just North of St. Anthony. I fished for 3 hours and caught 9 fish, the biggest being 19 inches. All were rainbows but 1 brown. If anyone is looking for some easy fishing, that's the place to be.
I was using a good ol' Kastmaster. The fishing were jumping out of the water like crazy from 5:15 - 6:30 am. Get ready for a good fight from those rainbows!

I also fished the North Fork today but south of St. Anthony. It was great fishing, I caught 19 fish the biggest being a 22 in brown. I floated from the railroad bridge to Hibbard. It was a great day. I saw 3 moose and lots of deer.
I cant wait for the Teton to come down and clear up!

Nice! Did you take a picture of the brown?
I'm just happy the river is alive and jumping! There are so many spots to choose from but so little time [frown]

I was in St. Anthony the other day and stopped in at that little park (veterans park?) There is a spot where the water is calm on the eastside of the park and there are a ton of fish in that hole. As I sat on a rock about 10 feet up, I saw what looked like a submarine going through the water. It was a fish (brown maybe?) that was no joke, 3 feet long.
I know there are some big fish in that river, but never knew they got that big!

I'm always down to go fishing with new people...my spots always produce a lot of fish and good quality as well. The real trick is getting the massive fish to bite and then the task gets even harder of trying to land them! haha
