The MP- 6/30/10

I got off early from work the other day and planned on hitting the 'Nell for a couple hours hoping to get into some Smallies. I was greeted at the lake by heavy winds, rain and by all definitions a pretty good storm system. The storm was moving north so I decided to head south in hopes that it would pass over me. My original thought was to cruise over to DC and keep with the Smallie theme, however the wind was still blowing pretty hard and the weather wasn't really conducive to float tubing or long casting. I instead decided to hit one of my favorite stretches of the Middle Provo. I had to hack through some really thick bush and ended up waded in a little too deep for my waders liking filling them up passed my knees, but I ended up having a good trip and hooked into 4 Browns and 2 Bows.

A couple pics......

Thanks for posting your report with pictures. Good looking fish, how long was that bigger one?

Other than "eyeballing it" against my rod I didn't get an official measurement. It was give or take 16.5" but it definitely had a little girth to it.
