Fishing between Moab and SLC
#1
Hi everyone,
I'm heading down to Moab for a quick hike on Friday and might hit up a lake on early Saturday morning on the way back up to SLC. Not looking for specifics but does anyone know of some decent bass fishing along the way? I have a boat if that makes a difference. I looked at Scofield, but it looks like mainly trout there. Looked into Yuba, but saw mainly pike, perch, and walleye reports. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Ed

Well it depends on how far out of your way you want to go. Ken's lake just south of Moab has LMB in it. Lake has a motor restriction on it. I am not sure what the restriction is.
You could fish Huntington North Res. it is 20 minutes south of Price. Has some real nice LMB in it and some small wipers. Only there second year there. However, by mid morning the power squadron will be in full effect. So fishing from a boat get a little hairy.
If you roll over to Stavation via Indian canyon about 45 mins from Price, of course there is some good smb there.
That is about all. If you got futher questions PM me.
