I fished Rainbow Lake in Rexburg this past Friday and we did really well. Between two of us we caught over 50 smallmouth and largemouth bass. All of the fish were between 12" and 17". We did lose a couple small mouth at the bank that were 20 plus inches and were in the 4-6 pound range. Needless to say we needed a bigger net. The fishing was really on fire! We were using 3" chartreuse jigs with bright chartreuse 1/4 ounce jig heads. Attached are some pictures..enjoy!

Stocked private lake = keep as many as you can pay for or have permission to take. Don't have a conniption.

Hey, we were told to keep as many bass as we could catch. I guess they are over taking the lake and need to thin them out so they won't kill off all the trout. I would believe that they are over running the lake because we had one on every cast!

Just so everyone knows what is going on. One of the owners of Rainbow Lake is my friend. He told me a few days ago that they are taking the bass out so they can concentrate on raising big trout. Tobo did nothing wrong.
Thanks
