Any luck at Bear Lake from shore?
#1
Going to Bear Lake and heard about the rainbows that were stocked. Wondering if anyone has tried fishing from the shore.

Also, are there any other areas nearby that might be worth hitting since I'll already be up there.

Thank you all

If the information at these two links does not help you, try sending a PM to Bearlakefishguy.

No problem. There are several areas that might be worth your time to try in the area. If you drive up logan canyon to get to Bear lake, that stream that follows the road can be worth your time but most of the fish will be smaller, also as you drive up the canyon you go by Tony's grove, a small lake that a lot of folks fish. A couple more areas to hit would be coming from the other direction and that would be Wooddrift res(sp?) and Birch creek both ot the foot at MontyChristo.
