Jordanelle early Wed

Beat the heat and launched at 6am, fishing until 10:30. White caps until 8:30, but nice to be still wearing my fleece at 9. Threw topwater in that shady bay where I got Mr. Big last fall, but nothing doing. Little action & little size w/jigs, so moved to east side of dam, where things started happening. Bobbered a worm over a bunch of 9" perch next to their underwater jungles. Not the brutes of Starvation, but good eaters. Also kept 6 smallies to help thin 'em out. Didn't even have an upper-teen /20" smallie to my credit this season, and then had 3 on within a span of five minutes. Two broke me off, while the other self-released. That's what you get for down-sizing during a Perch Search.
