Kitten rescue
#1
[font "Courier New"][#0000bf][size 3]I doubt anybody cares, but I'm so excited that I'm going to post it anyway!

I finally caught one of the feral/wild kittens living in a thicket in the back yard. He's sick, so he really doesn't have much energy to run away. I feed them canned food, to try to distract them... now if only I can be sneaky/quick enough to catch his healthy sisters!
In just a couple days he got tamed, and very loving - snuggles with me in bed. Also learned to use the litter box only after me showing him one time! (but he likes to use the "big kitty" box, rather than the one I set up for him! LOL)

He's about 3 months old. So when his medicine regime is finished, and he gets all better, I'm going to put him up for adoption (already got enough cats of my own).

If anybody would like to have him, or know anybody else wanting a kitten, we have this one and plenty of others! $85 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations and coupons for stuff at Petco. If you were to get a "free" kitten and did that all at a vet, it would be well over $150, so it's really a good deal!

I named his sisters after pretty rocks, too. Chert (gray long hair with orange & white smudges), Topaz (short hair calico) and Tourmaline (long hair calico).
