I purchased a Shasta Shuttle Hawk from The Tackle Shack in Meridian (an advertiser on BigFish) and tried it out at Anderson Ranch. The device travels up and down the cable, eliminating the need to ever have to crank your manual downrigger. Really liked it. Read my review on the sister site of this one. That is very interesting. I have never heard of that before. Then again I haven't studied koke fishing much until I get a boat.

The guys over at the tackle shop are great. I was over there yesterday looking for kookanee gear. I told them I had never fished them and they explained everything out and how to do it. They set me up with the colors and setup that is getting hit right now. My new favorite tackle shop.

It's on 322 E. Franklin in Meridian. Just East of Main St
Yes they do have some bass things. It is a small place right now but they are planning on expanding.
