Willow Beach

I have heard good things about Willow Beach just over the border......I was thinking about renting a canoe and do some fishing.......was wondering if anyone has fished there and if there are any truths to the rumors of it being a good place to fish.....cheers![crazy]

WILLOW BEACH: The striped bass bite is still off with only a few fish showing on the bigger swimbaits. Very light pressure. This past Saturday, Mike Archambault, Las Vegas, caught a 13-pounder at Mile Marker 52 on an A.C. Plug.
The trout action remains pretty good after the weekly plants with the best action on salmon eggs, Power Bait, worms and Super Dupers. Information: Willow Beach Resort at 928-767-4747.
