Thanks for the info. You seem to be our only source of Island Park info. So give us some details.[Wink]

The fish are moving into Trudes . The water temp. in the main lake is 70 degrees and on the bottom in Trudes it is 49 . The fish are moving into the cooler water . I was fishing in 12 feet of water with a nightcrawer 8 feet under a bobber . These fish fight like crazy with half of them jumping several times . They are averaging 3 pounds . Curt G.

It's out on the West End of the Reservoir and directly across from Green Canyon Campgrounds. You can Google Island Park Reservoir Idaho Fishing Maps for more info.

Do you have a boat ? If you do , where do you normally launch ? After you answer these two questions I can give you better directions on how to get to Trudes . You can't get there without a boat . The shore is all private ground . Curt G.

I only have a small aluminum boat with a 10 hp motor. Looks like I won't be fishing there. I usually launch at Buttermilk campground and just fish around Bills Island. Looks Like it would take me most of the day to get to Trudes. Thanks for the help though.
