just wondering if anyone else has heard about these two new records i heard about them on the radio the other day a guy landed a 40 + pound pike on a wedding ring with a worm trolling and i dont remember where it was caught at and another guy caught a 6 lb mtn. whitefish in pendorllie trolling lures for trout anybody have any details?

The Pike was caught on Twin Lakes outside of Rathdrum.

i know some ppl from minnesota and they swear pickled pike is the best fish in the world... but im with you if that fish doesnt go on the wall its a shame...

I grew up catching and yes eating pike. One of the best eating in my opinion. One that big may not taste as good as the smaller ones, but I've eaten one that was 25 pounds and it was good. It's all about getting that Y bone out and how you cook them.
