looking for a good Taxidermist

I would like to use one that you guys have used. I live in Tooele but SLC & UT county is ok also... Who would you send me to??? I would like to contact them before I head out on my LE ELK hunt.... thanks for all the responses I hope to get....

yuri rulin.... he is a master taxidermist who competes with his work in the world competitions. he wins best of show everytime he enters. he is located in west jordan off redwood road. the only thing is he may not be taking new clients. but with the econimy the way its been maybee he will take your work. this guy is sutch a perfectionist his hunters take him all over the world becaulse they want him caping and skinning over their guides. he is very exspensive!!! but worth it!!!! sorry i couldnt make it up to show you those spots. have you gone to look yet? ken

Thanks, I have not had a chance to go up yet and not sure if I will, I just started a new job 4 days ago, I went from Dugway Proving Ground to Tooele Army Depot. I have put in my vacation time from 16 Sep - 4 Oct. I hope he approves it... Started work as the Chief of Logistics Support Division and then 3 days into it put in leave 10 days into my new position and ask for a few weeks off.... lol Thanks for the info and I will be using that spot for a back up if I cant find a decent elk......

We have used him for years. He was one of the original designers of the foam bodies everyone now stretches their hides over.

Wish I had pictures to show you. But his muscle definition on the body and face of an animal is absolutley amazing!!

Prices are very reasonable. Depending on the mount style an Elk will run you $1,000 - $1,500.

Also check out "Antler Addiction" Taxidermy in Orem.
They do an awesome job and they win competitions year after year. One of my best friends is a taxi there, his work is unbelieveable!
