Notification????

Is BFT still sending out e-mail notification on reply to posts and such?????
If so why am I not getting them???

[#0000ff]You probably have comcast as your internet provider. I do too and I have not got a notification for months. I complained to admin and I got a big dump all at once and then nothing again.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Some folks have no problems. A lot of BFTers that have Comcast do have problems. Comcast claims it is nothing to do with them. So either live with it or just keep checking on any threads you have posted on and look for the red notification on the top that says you have a message.[/#0000ff]

Hey BassRods,

Just replied to your other post. Dont know why some are not getting emails. Some say that you can use another email and that will fix it, but I dont know. I am getting them now, but for a few months I wasn't. Maybe the other mods have a fix for you...I just dont know.

Hey BassRods,

Just looked into the email thing a bit more. It seems like a solution that has worked for others is to use the email account that BFT gives you with the site. Go to google Seach:

Big Fish Tackle Email

The first link will help you thru the process and all you have to do is change your profile email to this one.

Well some times I my not get to the computer for a day or two or three and posts may have gone off the page so if I get ask anything and I don't answer I just didn't see it...

I have MSN and the notifications show up in my junk folder, but that has to do with my settings I'm sure.

I had to open up a gmail account because I wasnt getting mine on my hotmail account. Dad wasnt getting his on his q.com account either I dont think, he has to use his gmail account too. I get mine fine on gmail tho. I have incredimail check both my hotmail and gmail so i really dont have to check two servers.
