Hello fellow fishermen!!
Just lookin' for some friendly tips/advice on catchin' my first musky. From what I gather, my best bet for a decent musky is at Pineview. I am plannin' on goin' up during the next couple of months cause I hear that fall is the best time to land a big'on. I was thinking of hauling up a canoe but was wondering if it is worth it, is shore fishing decent for the musky? I was also wondering if anyone was willing to let me in on some decent spots around the reservoir for shore fishing and/or in a canoe? I got hooked up on my first pike earlier this spring down dear Yuba, had about a 10 second fight and it popped off. That is all the exposure I have had to the freshwater- barracuda-like species of fish and I loved how much it fought, it was an fella. Just would like to land one, and preferably a musky! I would greatly appreciate any tips.
