Yellowstone area help
#1
I have friends visiting and we've caught some rainbow planters, brookies and cutthroat around here. Now they are about to leave and head for Yellowstone on their way home. Are there any good places to fish before the park, since they already have their out of state Idaho licenses? Bank fishing, fly and spinning gear, although his son was catching brook trout with a level wind casting outfit. I've never fished that way past Rexburg. Thanks.

I would hit the family fishing waters on the N.Fork near Ashton. It is always pretty easy for kids to catch some stockers. There are tons of places on the way up to Yellowstone. I like the Westend of Island park when it gets cold, but I haven't been there in a while. Warm River near the campground is always pretty reliable.
