Got there about noon, and fished until around 8 PM. For the first three hours or so, I got nothing besides one 8 inch crappie. The weather was very calm and sunny. Then some clouds started to blow in around 3:30 and the perch really turned on. I caught at least 30, including some real jumbos.
They were hitting worms floated about 18" off the bottom with a silver corky, and on green/chartreuse glow tube jigs. I had one pole out with bait while I jigged with the other. It was great until some nasty wind came up around 5:00. I stuck it out until dark because the fish were still biting during the storm, but they quit when it stopped about a half an hour before dusk.
The biggest one was almost 13", and I got four more right around 11".
