Cascade Perch.

When will the perch fishing pick up again at Cascade? This is the first weekend in quite a while I haven't had plans and I was thinking about heading up there.

Bug, I didn't go last weekend but went the two previous weekends and did really well. I'm going to run up early Saturday morning and will probably fish until about one or two and then head back for the game. I haven't fished by the dam this year yet but it is usually good this time of year - I'll probably go there and will be paddling around in the float tube. Let me know if you are going to be up there.

Untangler and I went to Boulder Creek at Cascade Reservior yesterday. Catch rates were very good. Size was not what we were hoping for, but was still acceptable. We came home with at least 20 each.

Thanks Untangler. I had a good time and look forward to an ice fishing trip with you.

You might notice in the third picture. I have on in my hand trying to pose for a photo and one on each rod as well.

That is great that you got into them. I have never been there. I hope to make it during ice season this year.

It was a beautiful day and we caught a ton of fish but they were the smallest I've caught so far this year. We still had enough in the 10-11" range to make some nice fillets but I can't even guess at how many we released. Buggy is a perch catching machine - every time I looked over, he had a fish on each of his two rods. We had a great time and it was nice to meet a fellow angler from BFT.

You give me too much credit. Most of the time I was too Confused to even know which rod to pick up.[crazy] It didn't hurt that we were in a really good spot either. When you're in a spot like that its hard not to catch a few.
