Im going to float causey tomorrow.. My buddy wants to try for some kokes.. From my understanding the arms are open so im heading up the east arm.. can kokes be taken on a flies ? Streamers,egg sucking leach,wooly buggers and so on ?? if not any little fishie will do..

any red in kokes, they must be released immediatly. as for flies, ultra small... kokes eat plankton.

The spawning Koke pool up and allot are taken on snags. I would think circle hook, and no barb for sportsmenship, but just a thought.
Like Koch said, but Larry Tullis had a fly for them. Mohair leech with dabs of material paint on the tips....it works, what can I say.

I'd try just what you mentioned. I've also caught spawning Kokes on nymphs while fishing for trout so don't be afraid to experiment if streamer patterns don't work.

As of 6 am september 25th you are good to keep kokes.

i would be suprised if you catch kokes on a fly, i would try marabou streamers or jigs for browns or tigers.
