Lake Mead 10-2-10

I headed out of Hemingway on Saturday around 8am and decided to work some of the coves across from Sentinel Island. I fished the coves, points and shelfs for about four hours and only put two small fish on the boat. I had to leave early at around 12 but I think I could have put a few more fish on the boat. Right before I had to leave I found a huge shelf a couple hundred yards off shore that ran -8-12 feet and I visually saw probably 50 bass cruising this thing. I took a couple pics of the baby bass cause hell, I know I like pics.

Nice one Vegas[cool] good thing you left cuz it got rough after that. The 50 bass you saw cruising were they smallies? And you know what they say without pics it just anothor fishing story[]

I guess I left just in time. Of course, I do enjoy fishing in bad weather too

I could not really differentiate the bass I saw. My eyes are not to crisp without my contacts in. There were some nice ones in the mix though. I saw at least 2 that had to be in the 3lb range. [fishin]

I do know where Ill be heading next Saturday though.
