any jigging tips

I cant seem to catch any bass or muskie on any type of jig or tube. any suggestions? I have a boat and am currently trying to fish at pine view.

I have been using a watermelon tube with a chartreuse jig head, just casting it out let it settle and slowly work it back.
Have had many hook ups with bass and muskie but only landed the bass so far.Of course that could have changed by now as this was last week.[fishin]

So did you get your new jig heads?

What weight of heads do you use (1/32, 1/16, 1/4 oz) and what size of tube (3/4 inch)?

haven't got new jig heads yet, the tubes are 2 3/4" watermelon tubes, and the jig heads not sure of the weight thinking about 1/4 oz, they were the ones my brother gave me and am thinking there is probably nothing wrong with them i just need to get better acquainted with the baitcaster.
