I knew it was going to be a good year when I drew a CWMU Moose tag with just 4 points. I muzzleloaded for the first time with my buddy and within 20 minutes had a good 4X4 down then this past Sunday started my Moose hunt. What an awesome time with my son and brother and friends. We scouted real hard for 2 days before deciding on the biggest bull we had seen even though he had broken off part of a palm. We went where he had been with a cow for the past 2 days and he was gone. We lucked out and tracked him down and put on a sneek for 3/4 of a mile. We busted him out of the trees before I got to where I could get a shot but with him was the second biggest bull we had seen so trying to catch my breath I took a shot and got a great bull. What a great experience to have my son and brother and buddies with me. Especially hauling him out.[inline "IMG_1665 (3).jpg"]
