How & where at Willow

We went out to Willow on Friday, Kind of late but had to try.
Looked like everyone got their limit with trout so we launch our Sea Eagle inflatable and tried for striper.
One hit on a small spoon. Nothing touched chovies.
Back to the subject: How & Where should we fish at Willow Beach for striper and big trout?

As far as Stripers go, Willow is hit and miss. I know people troll for weeks without any takers. I have only ever caught one striper down there off the dock using chovies.

Now for trout in my experience, if you want fresh stocker trout, you should stay around the Marina/hatchery.... The schools with larger fish can be found along the shores 1/4 mile and further down river. I have never tried fishing for trout up river.
