[inline "Fish 001.jpg"][inline "6 Gizzard Shad.jpg"][inline "Bait Tank.jpg"][inline Bait.jpg][inline "Big Shad.jpg"][inline "Fish 002.jpg"]Launched from Hemingway at 6am.
Threw the cast net for about 1-1/2 hours for about 40 shad up in the vegas wash. Bait is real shallow 2-3 feet deep.

Threw fish trap swimbaits and pick up a 12" near 33 hole then another on the jig spoon about 2.5 pounds.

Found small schools of fish coming out of Crawdad Cove just before the main channel. 180 deep, fish at 120-150 suspended.

Live bait was killed by the Striper then they came back and ate it. Not aggressive at all, just a tap.
Lost about 10 fish because the are not taking the bait deep. We tried to let them take it for awhile but that didn't help either.

Bite starts about 10:30-11 and goes till about 12:30 to 1.

Saw about 5 people on shore near 33 hole and about 20 boat fishermen.
20 boats and only 3 were catching fish.

See attached pics of fish and bait, including a 6" Gizzard Shad.
