if anyboby on the board is looking for a bargain float tube darts sports has the nevada float tube made by caddis for 39.99 once again or if you are in the market for a pontoon the water skeeter poonton boat for 199.99 ( 1/2 price) with oars good price ?

Went to Garts off Redwood and 5400 S and all sold out of the Caddis Nevada . Pontoon still there .

[cool]Don't recommend the Water Skeeter. Sits too high and too unstable. Also, acts like a sail when the wind comes up.

Makes a great rocking chair for the kids though, if you air it up and leave it in the living room.

is that a picture of a water skeeter ? the one they showed in the ad was a regular ole pontoon boat with oars hey mister 69 thought you all ready had a tube looking for another ? theres a garts in sandy 10600 off ramp southtown shopping center

[cool]That is the model they call the "DayTripper" They do indeed have several models...a couple of pontoon types with oars. Stearns makes a couple of good ones like that too.

There are two or three "imitations" of the Daytripper I pictured. I have only had a couple of favorable reviews on them. But, it is all a matter of personal preference. However, it is always good to be able to try before you buy. I have been buying first and trying second for a lotta years. Every once in awhile you can get lucky on a good buy that works.

Thanks Aquaman , I was thinking of getting one for my boy . He tried out my 8' pontoon out last weekend but wants a tube to use now . Go figure !!! Might have to sell pontoon to make room in garage for a another u tube .
