snowmobile suggestions
#1
So I really need to get back out ice fishing and I'm going to get a sled again. I don't have a ton of money so it will likely be something from the late 90s. I'm hoping someone here has a lot of experience with sleds and can suggest what might be a good dependable sled for this. I don't want to get stuck clear out at the other end of Strawberry with a sled that won't start. Is there any particular brand that is a bit more dependable than any other? I would sacrifice a lot of power and performance for something that is dependable.
I know the newer 4 strokes are supposed to be quite dependable (I don't really care about the extra weight) but they are a little out of my price range.
Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Hard to beat the old Polaris RMKs. I have two 1999 RMK 700s and they are plenty for digging your way through the worst of slush. I wouldn't have anything less or you'll be digging it out. That is not fun!
